Cookie policy

Last updated: 31 July 2026

This policy explains how Itashu AB ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on itashu.co (the "Website").

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and understand how you use it. Browser local storage works in a similar way and is described here alongside cookies.

2. Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary: required for the Website to work. They remember your cookie decision and let the contact form be submitted. The Website cannot function properly without them, so they do not require consent.
  • Analytics: help us understand which pages people read and where they come from. Collected in aggregate, not to identify an individual.
  • Behavioural: record anonymously how you move around a page, so we can see where attention is lost.

Analytics and behavioural cookies are set only after you consent. Until then, measurement runs in a cookieless mode.

3. Cookies in detail

When you open the booking calendar on the page, it loads in a frame from Cal.com, which may set its own cookies needed for it to work. The calendar loads only when you ask for it.

4. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are placed by third-party services:

  • Google Analytics: anonymous statistics about traffic and usage. Data is processed by Google. See Google's privacy policy for details.
  • Hotjar: anonymised on-page behaviour analysis. Data is processed by Hotjar Ltd.
  • Cal.com: appointment booking, only when you open the calendar.
  • Vercel Web Analytics: measures page load speed. It sets no cookies and no identifier that survives the day, so it runs without consent.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: checks that a form was submitted by a person. It loads only once you start filling the form in, and sets no tracking cookies.

We do not use cookies for advertising or retargeting.

5. Managing cookies

You can control cookies in two ways:

  • Cookie banner: on your first visit you choose what to allow. You can change that decision at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer.
  • Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking may affect how the Website works.

Where to find it in your browser:

  • Chrome: Settings, Privacy and security, Cookies
  • Firefox: Settings, Privacy and security, Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences, Privacy, Cookies
  • Edge: Settings, Cookies and site permissions

6. Consent

In accordance with GDPR and the Swedish Electronic Communications Act (LEK), we request your consent before placing non-essential cookies. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.

You can withdraw consent at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer, or by clearing site data in your browser.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
