Making one video

Person: filming, editing, captions

~10 hours

Agent: script, avatar, editing, captions

~1 hour of machine time + ~5 min of approval

Estimate based on typical video production and HeyGen pricing (Avatar IV, 20 credits per minute).

The starting point

Igor runs broker recruiting for a real estate team. He knew he needed to do marketing and put out something useful on a regular basis. But he didn’t feel comfortable on camera, and he didn’t want to hire someone for it: it would be expensive, and above all it wouldn’t be him anymore.

Goal: regular YouTube videos that sound like Igor, without a single day of filming.

Why an avatar

Igor had three options. We compared them on what mattered to him.

  3. Two avatars in conversation

A format in which two avatars talk through a topic.

  4. Long videos and shorts

Finished videos with captions, ready to publish.

Script
Igor provides the idea and a rough outline, AI writes the script in the style we defined

“I don’t have to stand in front of a camera and the channel runs anyway. I just watch the videos and approve them.”
